Privacy Policy

Last updated 1 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Moece Limited handles the limited personal data you give us when you join our early-access waitlist. We built Outbind to be privacy-first, so we collect as little as possible and tell you plainly what happens to it.

Please note: this is placeholder copy pending review by our legal advisers. It reflects our current practices in good faith, but it has not yet been finalised. We will update it before launch and will publish a new “last updated” date whenever it changes.

1. Who we are

Outbind is a product operated by Moece Limited (“Moece Limited”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a company registered in England & Wales, based in London. For the personal data described in this policy, Moece Limited is the data controller. That means we decide why and how your personal data is used, and we are responsible for protecting it under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, you can reach us at privacy@outbind.com.

2. What data we collect

We deliberately collect the smallest amount of data needed to run a waitlist. When you sign up, we collect:

  • Work email address (required) so we can confirm your place and contact you about early access.
  • Full name (optional) so we can address you properly if you choose to share it.
  • Consent metadata to prove your consent was freely given: a consent flag, the exact wording you agreed to, a consent version, and an ISO-8601 timestamp of when you agreed.
  • User-agent string (the basic technical description your browser sends) may be stored for security and troubleshooting.

Just as important is what we do not collect. We do not store your raw IP address (a deliberate data-minimisation choice), and we do not set any tracking cookies or build behavioural profiles of you. We only ever receive the information you choose to submit through the waitlist form.

3. How and why we use your data

We use your data for one narrow purpose: to operate the early-access waitlist and keep you informed about Outbind ahead of launch. In practice, that means sending you a confirmation that you have joined, and occasional updates about early access and the product’s progress.

Our lawful basis for this is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the UK GDPR. We capture that consent through an explicit opt-in checkbox that is unticked by default and required before you can join, agreeing to receive early-access and product marketing emails. To demonstrate consent as required by Article 7, we store the exact consent text you agreed to, the consent version, and the timestamp of your agreement. We will not use your data for any new purpose without telling you first.

4. Cookies & tracking

This site uses privacy-first, cookieless analytics and sets no advertising or tracking cookies. To understand aggregate traffic — how many people visit, which pages they view, the broad country and device category, and how fast the site loads (Core Web Vitals) — we use Cloudflare Web Analytics and Vercel (Web Analytics and Speed Insights). All of them measure without cookies, without storing your IP address, and without building any profile of you as an individual; the data is aggregate and cannot be used to identify you or track you across other sites. Because we still set no non-essential cookies, there is no cookie-consent banner to click through.

To stop automated bots from spamming the waitlist, we use Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-first bot check. Turnstile is cookieless by design and does not track you across sites or build an advertising profile. We disclose it here for full transparency, but it does not change the fact that this site sets no tracking cookies.

5. Processors & international transfers

We use a small number of trusted service providers (processors) to run the waitlist. Each one only processes your data on our instructions and under a data processing agreement:

  • Supabase hosts our database (Postgres). Your waitlist record is stored in an EU region (for example, Frankfurt), keeping the data within the EU for residency purposes.
  • Resend sends the waitlist confirmation and update emails on our behalf.
  • Cloudflare provides the cookieless bot check (Turnstile) and cookieless, aggregate Web Analytics, both described above.
  • Vercelprovides cookieless Web Analytics and Speed Insights — aggregate traffic counts and real-user performance metrics — with no cookies and no individual profiling.

We store your data in the EU/UK. Where any processing involves a transfer of personal data outside the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), so your data keeps an equivalent level of protection.

6. Data retention

We keep your waitlist entry only as long as we need it. In practice, we retain it until we launch and have onboarded you (or you decide not to proceed), or until you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first. When we no longer need your data, we delete it. You can ask us to remove you at any time, and we will act on that request promptly.

7. Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the following rights over your personal data:

  • Access a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Rectification of data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Erasureof your data (the “right to be forgotten”).
  • Restriction of how we process your data.
  • Objection to our processing.
  • Portability to receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, which is as easy as giving it: use the unsubscribe link or reply to any email we send.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@outbind.com. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to address your concerns first.

8. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Information is stored with our EU-hosted database provider, access is limited to those who need it, and data is transmitted over encrypted connections. No method of storage or transmission is ever completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe and to minimise what we hold in the first place.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, particularly once it has been through full legal review ahead of launch. When we make changes, we will revise the “last updated” date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will let you know by email.
