Sales automation
Sales automation software that runs the work, not just the steps
Sales automation software that finds leads, writes and sends from your own inbox, follows up, sorts replies and syncs your CRM. Plans from $49 a month.
Sales automation software is software that does repeatable sales tasks for you, such as building lead lists, sending emails, following up, logging activity and moving deals through a pipeline. Outbind is sales automation software built as the autonomous client engine: instead of automating one step at a time, it runs the whole loop from finding a lead to booking the meeting.
Most automation saves clicks. The kind that changes a small team's week saves decisions too, while still leaving the important ones to you.
What is sales automation software?
Sales automation software takes work that follows rules and does it without a person each time. Common examples are sequences that send on a schedule, tasks that create themselves, and data that copies from one tool to another.
The category is wide. Some tools automate one job, like email sending or CRM updates. Others, like Outbind, automate a chain of jobs that used to need several tools and someone to connect them.
What parts of sales can you automate?
You can automate most of the top of the funnel and the admin around it. You should not automate the parts that need trust or judgement. Here is how Outbind draws the line:
| Task | Automated by Outbind | Stays with you |
|---|---|---|
| Finding and scoring accounts | Yes, every morning | Edit the ICP and personas |
| Watching for buying signals | Yes | |
| Researching each lead | Yes, with sources cited | |
| Writing emails | Yes, with 35+ pre-send checks | Build or edit Flows on Pro Plus and up |
| Sending and follow-ups | Yes, from your own inbox | |
| Yes, in the cloud | ||
| Sorting replies | Yes, in one Unibox | |
| Booking interested people | Yes, with your booking link | |
| Pricing questions and objections | No | Yes |
| Calls and demos | No | Yes |
| CRM updates | Yes, two-way sync every 5 minutes |
Rules-based vs autonomous sales automation: what is the difference?
Rules-based automation does exactly what you set up: "send step 2 three days after step 1". Autonomous automation decides some of the steps itself, within limits.
Rules-based tools are predictable, but someone has to build and maintain every rule. Autonomous tools need less building, but you have to trust their limits. Outbind is autonomous with firm limits: daily caps by plan, an 8am to 8pm sending window in each recipient's time zone, a stop the moment someone replies, and plain-text emails. You OK the first leads once, or you can choose to review every lead.
What should you never automate in sales?
Never automate anything where a wrong answer costs you the deal or your reputation. That means pricing, discounts, objections and replies that could be read two ways. Outbind sends all of those to you.
Also never automate guesswork about data. A guessed email address that bounces hurts every email you send after it. Outbind never guesses emails from name patterns, uses a verified pool first, and shows the source, date and confidence on every field. For the sending rules mailbox providers now enforce, read email sender requirements in 2026.
How does sales automation connect to your CRM?
Good sales automation writes back to the CRM you already use, so nobody copies data by hand. Outbind syncs two-way every 5 minutes with HubSpot and Pipedrive on Pro Plus and up, and with Salesforce on Team Scale.
Inside Outbind, deals move by reply: when a reply comes in, the deal moves stage. Quiet, stalled and unanswered deals are flagged. On Pro Plus and up you can also reach your Outbind data from other AI assistants through MCP.
How much does sales automation software cost?
Outbind costs $49 a month on Pro, $99 on Pro Plus, $199 on Team and $399 on Team Scale, billed monthly, with 2 months free on yearly billing. There is no setup fee and no per-send fee.
The bigger saving is often the tools you no longer need to join together: data, sending, LinkedIn, a shared inbox and CRM sync come in one plan. Extra LinkedIn accounts are $10 a month and extra seats on Team plans are $49. See pricing.
How does Outbind work as sales automation software?
Outbind works as sales automation software that you switch on rather than build. Obi reads your website and proposes your market. You connect your own mailboxes and LinkedIn, OK the first leads and turn Autopilot on. From there it runs each day, and you can steer it from the web dashboard, WhatsApp, or both.

FAQ
Is sales automation software worth it for a small team?
Usually, yes, when it saves you from building a stack. A small team rarely has time to wire data, sending and LinkedIn tools together, which is the gap an all-in-one tool fills.
Will sales automation make my emails look robotic?
Not if it writes from real research. Outbind cites real sources in each email, sends plain text and runs 35+ pre-send checks before anything goes out.
Can I still build my own sequences?
Yes. On Pro Plus and up you can edit and build Flows. On Pro, Autopilot runs the Flows for you.
Does Outbind automate phone calls?
No. Outbind does not make calls and has no dialer. It automates email and LinkedIn.
