Instantly vs Outbind: volume or replies? (2026)
Instantly vs Outbind compared: pricing, mailboxes, LinkedIn, data and reply handling, and which one fits a founder or small team in 2026.
Instantly vs Outbind comes down to volume versus replies. Pick Instantly if you run many inboxes and send tens of thousands of cold emails a month, and you are happy to manage lists, copy and campaigns yourself. Pick Outbind if you are a founder or small team who wants a smaller number of researched emails and LinkedIn messages from your own inbox, with replies handled for you.
Key points
- Instantly is a high-volume cold email platform: unlimited email accounts and warmup on every sending plan, with plans up to 500,000 emails a month.
- Both tools let you send from your own mailboxes. Instantly also sells new accounts, and is built around adding many of them.
- Outbind does the whole job from your website: finds and scores leads, researches them, writes, sends from your Gmail or Outlook, runs LinkedIn and answers interested replies.
- Instantly sells sending, lead credits and bundles separately. Outbind is one plan from $49 a month, and sending never uses credits.
- Instantly is the better fit for agencies and operators who want cheap volume. Outbind is the better fit if you care more about replies than about send counts.
What is Instantly?
Instantly is a cold email platform built for sending at scale. Its pricing page lists "Unlimited Email Accounts" and "Unlimited Email Warmup" on every sending plan, a database of "450M+ B2B Leads" sold through separate credit plans, an AI Reply Agent, a CRM and done-for-you VIP services.
You can connect your own accounts. Instantly's help centre covers Google Workspace (OAuth), personal Gmail (app password), Microsoft 365 and other IMAP and SMTP providers. Instantly also sells email accounts, and its pricing FAQ says you "can connect and warm as many accounts as you need from any provider."
What is Outbind?
Outbind is an autonomous client engine for founders, agencies and sales teams. It maps your market from your website, finds and scores people who fit (fit, persona and intent, with the reasons), researches them, writes and sends from your own Gmail or Outlook, automates LinkedIn in the cloud, sorts every reply in one Unibox and answers people who want to talk with your booking link. Its AI is called Obi, and you can run it from the web dashboard or WhatsApp.

How does Instantly pricing compare with Outbind?
Instantly charges separately for sending and for lead credits, or sells both together as bundles. Outbind has one plan that covers data, writing, sending, LinkedIn and replies, and sending never uses credits.
As of October 2026, Instantly's pricing page lists these monthly prices:
| Plan | Instantly price | What it includes |
|---|---|---|
| Growth (sending) | $47 a month | 5,000 emails, 1,000 uploaded contacts |
| Hypergrowth (sending) | $97 a month | 125,000 emails, 25,000 uploaded contacts |
| Light Speed (sending) | $358 a month | 500,000 emails, 100,000 contacts |
| Growth Credits (leads) | $47 a month | 1,500 to 2,000 credits |
| Starter bundle | $94 a month | 5,000 emails, 1,500 credits |
| Scale bundle | $194 a month | 100,000 emails, 5,000 credits, AI Reply Agent |
| Agency bundle | $555 a month | 500,000 emails, 10,000 credits |
Yearly billing is cheaper: the Growth sending plan shows $37.60 a month and the Starter bundle $85. One note: the bundle cards on the same page show the Hypergrowth sending plan at $358 a month, so check the page before you buy.
Outbind's plans, as of October 2026:
| Plan | Outbind price | What it includes |
|---|---|---|
| Pro | $49 a month | 5,000 credits, up to about 400 leads, 1 LinkedIn account |
| Pro Plus | $99 a month | 12,000 credits, up to about 1,000 leads, 2 LinkedIn accounts |
| Team | $199 a month | 25,000 shared credits, 3 seats, 4 LinkedIn accounts |
| Team Scale | $399 a month | 50,000 shared credits, 5 seats, 8 LinkedIn accounts |
A worked example for a founder
Say you want to reach about 1,000 new people a month by email, have the replies handled and add LinkedIn.
- On Instantly, the Starter bundle at $94 a month covers 5,000 emails and 1,500 credits for lead data. Instantly's pricing page puts the AI Reply Agent in the Scale bundle at $194 a month, and its AI Reply Agent page says the agent uses 5 credits per reply generated. LinkedIn is not listed, so you would add another tool for it.
- On Outbind, Pro Plus at $99 a month covers up to about 1,000 leads with research and writing, sends from your own mailboxes, includes 2 LinkedIn accounts and answers interested replies with your booking link.
If you only need to send email to lists you already have, Instantly's $47 Growth plan is cheaper. If you also need leads, writing, LinkedIn and reply handling, Outbind does more of the work for a similar price.
Is Instantly built for volume or for replies?
Instantly is built for volume. Its plans are sized by emails per month (from 5,000 up to 500,000 and beyond), it offers unlimited accounts and warmup, and its Light Speed plan adds dedicated server and IP rotation to protect deliverability at that scale.
But volume has a ceiling set by mailbox providers, not by your plan. Google's email sender guidelines ask senders to keep spam rates in Postmaster Tools "below 0.10%" and to "avoid ever reaching a spam rate of 0.30% or higher". Microsoft also caps external recipients per tenant, which we cover in Microsoft 365 sending limits.
Outbind takes the other route. It sends up to 50 emails a day per mailbox, starts new mailboxes slowly, rotates across the mailboxes you connect and sends only between 8am and 8pm in the recipient's time zone. Every draft passes 35+ pre-send checks and cites real sources from research. The aim is fewer emails that people actually answer.
Do Instantly and Outbind both send from your own inbox?
Yes. Both let you connect your own Gmail or Outlook mailboxes, so this is not the difference.
The difference is how each expects you to grow. Instantly is designed for adding many accounts, connected or bought, and spreading volume across them. Outbind sends from the real inboxes you already use for business, at a human pace.
Who writes the emails and handles the replies?
On Instantly you build the campaign: leads, copy and sequence. Outbind writes each email from research on the person and their company.
Instantly does offer AI help: an AI Email Writer Agent, a Web Researcher Agent, and an AI Reply Agent that can run in "Human-in-the-Loop" mode, where you "approve replies before they send", or in Autopilot. The Reply Agent page says it shares your Calendly link and handles the back and forth.
Outbind's Autopilot sends on its own once you OK the first leads, or you can choose to review every lead. Pricing questions, objections and anything unclear come to you. People who want to talk get your booking link, and a Flow stops the moment someone replies or books. Email and LinkedIn replies land in one Unibox.
How do the data and buying signals compare?
Both include lead data. Instantly's credit plans list a 450M+ lead database, 13 filters, "Waterfall Work Email Enrichment with 5+ providers" and job posting, news, technology and funding enrichment.
Outbind starts from your website instead of a filter screen, then scores people on fit, persona and intent, with the reasons. Enrichment uses a verified pool first and other sources only for gaps, recording source, date and confidence on every field, and emails are never guessed from name patterns. Hiring and funding signals come on every plan; new leaders, expansions and acquisitions come on Pro Plus and up. See waterfall enrichment for how this works.
When is Instantly the better choice?
Instantly is the better choice when volume is the job. Pick it if:
- You are an agency or operator sending 100,000+ emails a month across many accounts.
- You have lists and copy, and want the cheapest way to send them, across many new accounts.
- You only need email, not LinkedIn.
When is Outbind the better choice?
Outbind is the better choice when you want replies and meetings without building a stack. Pick it if:
- You are a founder or small team with no time to build lists, write copy and watch campaigns.
- You want to send from your real Gmail or Outlook at a careful pace.
- You want email and LinkedIn in one place, with one inbox for replies.
- You want each email to cite real research, and each data field to show its source.
