Best AI SDR tools in 2026: an honest comparison
The best AI SDR tools in 2026 compared on what they do, pricing and fit. Outbind, 11x, Artisan, Amplemarket, Instantly and lemlist, with watch-outs.
The best AI SDR tools in 2026 split into two groups. Enterprise agents such as 11x and Artisan sell on annual contracts after a demo and add voice or a dialer. Self-serve tools such as Outbind, Instantly and lemlist publish monthly prices from under $100. Pick by team size, channels and how much you want the AI to run alone.
We make Outbind, so it is listed first. Every fact about other tools comes from their own pages.
Key points
- An AI SDR finds prospects, researches them, writes and sends messages, follows up and books meetings. How much it does on its own varies a lot by tool.
- Gartner predicts AI agents will outnumber sellers 10 to 1 by 2028, yet fewer than 40% of sellers will say agents improved productivity. The tool matters less than the system around it.
- As of October 2026, listed entry prices range from $49 a month (Outbind) to $3,750 a month billed annually (11x). Artisan publishes no prices.
- For small teams, look for public pricing, monthly terms, a free trial and sending from your own mailbox.
What is an AI SDR?
An AI SDR is software that does the work of a sales development rep: it finds people who fit your ideal customer profile, researches them, writes and sends first messages and follow-ups, sorts replies and books meetings. You will also see it called an AI BDR, an AI sales agent or an autonomous SDR.
An autonomous SDR sends without approval of each message. A copilot drafts and waits for a rep to approve. For how to split the work with people, see AI SDR vs human SDR.
Do AI SDRs actually work?
They can, but more agents do not guarantee results. In a 28 July 2026 press release, Gartner predicted that by 2028 AI agents will outnumber sellers by 10 times, and that fewer than 40% of sellers will say AI agents have improved productivity. The release drew on a survey of 210 chief sales officers and senior sales executives, run from January to February 2026.
Dan Gottlieb, VP Analyst at Gartner, said "more agents will not automatically mean more productivity" and that agents "are only as effective as the systems they operate within." Gartner also predicts that sales leaders who overhaul data, automation and user experience will be five times more likely to gain ROI from AI than those choosing quick fixes.
For a small team, that means clean, sourced data, clear rules on what the AI handles alone, and one tool for the whole loop.

What are the best AI SDR tools in 2026?
1. Outbind
Best for: founders, agencies and small sales teams who want results without building a stack.
What it does: Outbind is the autonomous client engine. It maps your market from your website, finds and scores people who fit, researches them, writes and sends from your own Gmail or Outlook, automates LinkedIn in the cloud, sorts every reply in one Unibox and answers people who want to talk with your booking link. Autopilot sends on its own; you OK the first leads once, or choose to review every lead. Pricing questions, objections and anything unclear come to you. Every draft passes 35+ pre-send checks, and enrichment records source, date and confidence on every field.
Pricing as of October 2026: Pro $49 a month (5,000 credits, up to about 400 leads), Pro Plus $99, Team $199 (3 seats) and Team Scale $399 (5 seats). Sending never uses credits. Yearly billing gives 2 months free. 7-day free trial on every plan, card at sign-up.
Watch-outs: no AI voice calls or dialer. Sending is capped at up to 50 emails a day per mailbox, and new mailboxes start slowly, so it is not built for very high volume.
2. 11x
Best for: mid-market and enterprise teams that want AI voice and inbound agents.
What it does: 11x sells Alice, an outbound agent for email and social, and Julian, a voice and chat agent for inbound leads and customer expansion. Its homepage lists voice, chat, email, social, SMS and WhatsApp. Alice sends from 11x managed Gmail mailboxes, with warmup and rotation included.
Pricing as of October 2026: the Alice pricing page lists Growth "Starting at $3,750 / mo", billed annually, for up to 5 users and 2,000 new prospects a month. The FAQ on the same page says Growth "starts at $36,000 per year", so confirm with 11x. Julian voice starts at $5,333 a month. Pro and Enterprise are custom.
Watch-outs: annual is the default contract, and 11x's billing FAQ says there is no published self-serve free trial. Non-renewal needs 30 days' written notice.
3. Artisan
Best for: teams that want an AI BDR, a large database and a dialer, with enterprise security.
What it does: Artisan's Ava finds and enriches leads from a database of 250M+ verified contacts, sends personalised email from your own domains in your reps' names, handles replies and books meetings. The stack includes intent signals and a dialer, with approvals, tone locks and escalation rules. Artisan lists SOC 2 Type II, SSO/SAML and audit logs for enterprise.
Pricing as of October 2026: not published. Artisan describes credit-based tiers scoped to lead volume, mailboxes and dialer seats, quoted after a demo.
Watch-outs: you cannot see a price before talking to sales. We did not see LinkedIn sending listed on Artisan's pages.

4. Amplemarket
Best for: sales teams with reps who want an AI copilot, phone data and a dialer.
What it does: Amplemarket is an AI sales platform with lead data, signals, multichannel sequences (email, social and call steps), a parallel dialer and Duo, its AI copilot. On its homepage demo, Duo drafts an email and the rep approves it.
Pricing as of October 2026: Startup is $600 a month on an annual term, with 2 users and 27,000 contacts. Growth and Elite are custom. The pricing page says all plans include a free trial.
Watch-outs: annual term even on the entry plan; Duo Voice starts on Growth.
5. Instantly (AI agents)
Best for: agencies and teams sending high volumes of cold email.
What it does: Instantly is a cold email platform with unlimited email accounts and warmup, a 450M+ lead database and AI agents. Its AI Sales Agent page says the agent finds leads, writes, follows up and books meetings automatically, on email; we did not see LinkedIn listed.
Pricing as of October 2026: the AI Sales Agent is listed in the Starter bundle at $94 a month (5,000 emails, 1,000 contacts). The AI Reply Agent is listed from the Scale bundle at $194 a month. Sending-only plans start at $47 a month.
Watch-outs: AI features sit in different bundles, and the pricing page shows two different prices for one plan, so confirm what you are buying. More in Instantly vs Outbind.
6. lemlist
Best for: teams that want many channels and hands-on control of sequences.
What it does: lemlist runs sequences across email, LinkedIn, calls, SMS and WhatsApp (as an add-on) on its Multichannel plan. Its pricing page lists AI agents for leads, signals, enrichment and messaging, including lemAgent, plus AI reply detection.
Pricing as of October 2026: Email plan $69 a month ($55 a month billed yearly), Multichannel $109 a month ($87 yearly). lemlist says pricing is based on the number of users.
Watch-outs: lead data ($20 a month for 2,000 credits) and buying intent signals ($29 a month) are add-ons. The FAQ describes a 14-day trial while a banner promotes 30 days. More in lemlist vs Outbind.
Which AI SDR is best for small teams?
For founders, agencies and teams of one to ten, the best AI SDR is one you can price, try and cancel without a sales process. That rules out most enterprise agents on day one: 11x defaults to annual contracts, Artisan publishes no prices, and Amplemarket's entry plan is $600 a month on an annual term.
Among self-serve tools, Instantly suits high volume and lemlist suits many channels and hands-on sequence building. Outbind suits you if you want one engine for email and LinkedIn that books meetings, from $49 a month.
How do you choose an AI SDR?
Choose an AI SDR by checking cost, control, data and channels against how your team sells:
- Can you see the price? Public pricing and monthly terms lower your risk while you test.
- Is there a free trial? Run it on your own market, not a demo account.
- Whose mailbox sends? Your own Gmail or Outlook keeps replies and history with you; managed mailboxes save setup.
- How autonomous is it? Decide whether you want it to send alone or wait for approval, and what must always come back to you.
- Where does the data come from? Ask whether emails are verified or guessed, and whether you can see the source and date.
- Which channels do you need? Email only, email plus LinkedIn, or voice and dialer.
- Does it stop on reply? A sequence should stop the moment someone replies or books.
- Does it sync with your CRM? Check two-way sync for the CRM you use.
How we compared these tools
